Happy Halloween!

Being away from home is a little bitter sweet this year. I am SO happy to be in Houston, but am a little sad I will miss the first Halloween at our new house. I am sure the Mr. will take care of the kids that (may) come to our house. I can’t wait until I hear how many come trick or treating and what costumes the kids are dressed up in – It is something to look forward to for next year!

I have a special place in my heart for Halloween since I have always loved to get dressed up. I think it stems from back when I used to do ballet when I was a little girl. I loved the costumes and feeling pretty and different for a day. I had meant to get out some of the old halloween pictures and share from when I was little, but with the unexpected early departure from home to get to Houston (thanks Sandy) I didn’t have time. Instead I decided to go through all the images I have digitally stored (mainly on Facebook) of my more recent costumes.

Looking back on all these times (not all Halloween as I am sure you can deduce) I get so happy. I loved Halloween in college – it was so much fun to go out and have all your friends dressed up and seeing how different people decided to dress. It’s days like these that I wish I could go back to college and hand out with all my friends, planning on what we were going to be dressed up as this year.
