One week of Cassie

It was a week ago on Saturday that we took Cassie home. She has finally started wagging her tail sometimes, and is getting better on her leash. I can’t even begin to describe how cute she is when she peeks her head around the corner.

We have also discovered how much she likes to go on walks – once she is away from cars (they seem to scare her). We went on two long walks with her this weekend, and it was so great to see her prance (because she prances instead of running) around, tail wagging.

We also reached another milestone at home last night. For an hour the animals both sat with us on the couch. Granted we had Cassie in between us the whole time and Ringo (who was curled up on my lap) refused to acknowledge her at all. This was an improvement over him trying to attack her for sure.
