This weekend we have some pretty big plans that I am not going to share quite yet. Let’s just say we are excited!!
Besides the big thing this weekend I have lots of little things to accomplish. With the weather getting colder and colder in the mornings we have realized we HAVE to do something about our windows, which are all a bit drafty.
I also have been trying to make pesto for about 4 months now. I bought a little basil plant then, and have been tending to it daily since then – but still have done nothing with it. It is time to change that! Speaking of cooking, I am also going to welcome this fall weather by trying out my crock pot for the first time this weekend.
We also plan on spending a good deal of time out doors. (This is KIND of a hint of what we are most excited about this weekend.)
My weekend is starting a bit early, and today is volunteer day at my company. My community service project has me working at the zoo today.

Fall is here…..Thus, watching your brother play football, watching your Mom cook for your brothers who are away at school, yard work and the sampling of Fall inspired craft beers, Bourbons and Whiskeys. Also a great weekend to overseed the lawn and put out the pumkins….hint to Fergal.
