The Air Field Cafe

On Friday night, The husband and I decided to try dinner at Nancy’s Air Field Cafe in Stow, MA.  I have lived within 15 min. of this restaurant for over half my life and never tried this place. We were inspired to go beacause a new friend of ours is the chief at the Cafe. He was telling us about the menu, and it was mouthwatering.

We got to the restaurant and were immediately taken by the scenery. As the name implies, the Cafe is located at the Stow airport, and when seated in the “flight deck” you can watch planes flying in and out. It was so much fun to watch, and could have kept us entertained for the entire night.

But we were pretty distracted once the food came out. We started with a shrimp appetizer that was out of this world. The main course, a blue cheese covered steak with roasted potatoes and beets. Cooked to perfection, this was a definite treat. Both the husband and I can’t wait until we go back to sample the cooking again.
