What started out as a low key weekend, full of home improvement plans, quickly changed Saturday evening when my maid of honor and one of my bridesmaids showed up unexpectedly at my house. From there I had an amazing bachelorette party, and then the next day a surprise shower. Both events were so carefully planned, and everything was perfect. I can’t even begin to thank everyone involved – I feel so loved. I don’t have any pictures of the to events myself, so I will tell more about them once I track down some pictures. In the meantime, here are a few of the images I do have of the weekend (before and after the shower/ bachelorette party):
My Grandfather’s aplacas were shaved for the summer – they look so awkward and cute!
While I was at the bridal shower, the fiancé bought a fishing rod, and later that day caught 3 fish in less than an hour!
These were given to each of the guests at the shower – on each of the spoons there is an ingredient to love. They say “a pinch of patience, a dash of kindness, a spoonful of laughter, a heap of love”. I adore these measuring spoons, and am brainstorming a way to show them off in my kitchen.
The fiancé was super excited that his two most coveted items on our registry were given to us – a potato peeler and a porcelain cow milker.
